The food is DELICIOUS!!! Absolutely AMAZING!! I’ve had Persian food from places on Overlea and Laird and this BY FAR outdoes those places. The taste…I literally cannot get over how good it is! Don’t expect amazing service or anything. This is not one of those places. Ur not going to have someone checking in on you etc. but I prefer that. If you need someone you can call them over. The food tho.. the food is unbelievably tasty. Portions are huge. So so well worth it! Definitely a restaurant to support and keep on the Danforth. If you haven’t tried it yet, try it. You will not regret it.

Amazing service, and lovely owner. Once you order, they serve you delicious complimentary lentil soup on the house. We got their eggplant appetizer, and highly recommend for anyone who loves eggplant and yogurt together with fried onions. Great flavour and texture pairing. As main, we got the kebab and chicken with rice. Large portion, delicious and great for sharing. Overall, amazing food for an amazing price point.

This place is a dream come true on the Danforth — a cozy, authentic Persian restaurant that’s perfect when you’re craving a good CheloKabab. Affordable, great vibes, and super friendly staff. The complimentary Soup-e-Jo is a real treat. It’s quickly becoming a weekend regular for me.

I ordered and picked up loobia polo and kabab koobideh. Both were delicious, with great flavor and good portion sizes. The price was very reasonable too. Will definitely order again!

The food here was fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised by the huge portion sizes, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. I've tried a lot of Persian food in Toronto, and this is hands down the best I've had. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The atmosphere is also cozy and charming!

The only thing I regret about my experience is not taking good photos of all the amazing food I had. This has to be the best Irani food I’ve had in Toronto. We were a group of six and we all ordered different things on the menu and we all tasted each other’s food. The koobeideh Kababs were amazing, the chicken boneless legs were so juicy and flavourful but oh my god, the KababTorsh has got to be one of the BEST and most flavourful dishes I’ve ever tasted. Everything on my plate was an 11/10. The rice was nice and buttery, the veal was crispy on the outside with the walnuts adding so much depth to the flavour profile and when you cut into the meat, it’s tender, juicy and is exploding with flavour. I literally didn’t wanna talk to anyone while eating because each bite was heavenly. I don’t usually write reviews, but I want everyone to have the experience that I had- phenomenal!!! Definitely going again with a different bunch of friends.

Lunch and dinner and one take out in I can say the food is consistently yummy. I was waiting for a reliable Persian restaurant close to me for a long time. Koobideh is tender and juicy and professionally done. Any of the the Chicken kabobs are a must try if you are new to persian food. The stews taste great if you have never tried homecooked persian! Oh and they use good quality rice compared to others I have tasted! welldone! They don’t cinch on portions either! Order one kaseh kabob for two! this way you will taste all the kabobs along with enough rice for two people! oh and order some yoghurt and make a complete bite!

We recently visited a Kababi restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience! We tried the Koobideh, Shishlik, and Kashke Bademjan, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Koobideh was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, while the Shishlik was perfectly grilled and full of smoky goodness. The Kashke Bademjan was a delightful appetizer that brought back fond memories of Iranian home-cooked meals. The portions were generous, especially the rice, and the customer service was excellent. The warm, cozy atmosphere made for a wonderful dining experience. If you're craving authentic Iranian food, I highly recommend this place!
